here is a sweet, retro, “versatile jumper” pattern that i found at a thrift store this past weekend. i am going to make the original pattern, and if i like it, i will (hopefully) make a second with a different neckline… probably more square, or a scoop neck rather than the V. there are pockets under the front-top layer which wrap around from the back. It’s pretty interesting. it makes more sense by looking at the flat sketch on the back. i think this little number will be really fun for the summer!

    definitely give this dress a try. i had one like this when i was younger and *loved* it. so easy to wear, yet cute. go for a soft, lightweight fabric due to the layering and gathers.
