i just whipped this up as i was sorting through mounds of baby boy clothing. these were some of my favorites of jed’s clothes. i just made them into squares and (very) quickly sewed them together.

i’m making this sort of a work -in-progress quilt as i will probably add some of the clothes he is in now, or possibly make it one big quilt with all the boys clothes that were special to me in it… after all, micah wore many things that were jed’s, and now there is seth wearing my favorite micah clothes, making it all a bit too confusing. anywho, i know it’s not beautiful, but that’s not really the point (although it should be noted that it is wildly soft!). i’m hoping it will be a quilt that we can wander all over the small squares and remember when the days they were tiny.

my interior designer mom recently started up an online fabric shop. this is the place to snag discounted designer fabric, great for all your decorating and crafting needs! scope it out and think of it if you are ever considering reupholstering that yard sale chair! i put a link to it in my side-bar under crafting resources. cheers!
